If there's anything I've learned in my career as a Realtor thus far it's that your clients need to trust you. Getting to know your clients outside of the business transaction really helps them feel more at ease. I like to bond with my clients face to face when possible and show them past client reviews so they know who I am and what I do. Honesty, transparency and disclosure will help build trust in any situation. As an agent we may not always have all the answers but we must always be the resource at knowing where to find them and be able to get back to our clients in a timely manner. I've heard from clients who have worked with other agents that some agents do not follow-up, which can be frustrating for any client especially first time homebuyers. Taking notes, answering questions ASAP and ensuring clients understand will facilitate a great client-agent relationship.
